) announced today that its Integrated Systems division (L-3 IS) has been awarded $63.2 million in sole source task orders by the U.S. Special Operations Command A subordinate unified or other joint command established by a joint force commander to plan, coordinate, conduct, and support joint special operations within the joint force commander's assigned operational area. Under the terms of the contract, L-3 IS will provide service life extension maintenance support for 33 Special Operations Aviation A/MH-6M Little Bird helicopters and Bare Base Sets to the U.S. Army. The values of the task orders for the Service Life Extension Program and the Bare Base Sets are $5 million and $58.2 million, respectively.
