Multimedia 2000 Releases Bubblegum Crisis DVD Suite; Cyberpunk Anime Classic on DVD Out Now!!

SEATTLE--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 20, 1998--Multimedia 2000, Inc. today announced the November 20 release of Bubblegum Crisis DVD Suite, eight Japanese anime videos on three DVDs, by licensing arrangement with AnimEigo, Inc.

"We are thrilled to finally release Bubblegum Crisis in its' new, finest rendition," said Paul Bader, president of Multimedia 2000. "The time spent is justified by the final result. Our public shares that appreciation."

In 2032 A.D., the city of MegaTokyo rises from the rubble of a devastating earthquake. Through the twisted canyons of the megapolis the Knight Sabers, a shadowy band of high-tech mercenaries, fight the evil GENOM Corporation and its' sinister androids, the Boomers. Follow the private war between the Knight Sabers and GENOM in the Bubblegum Crisis DVD Suite.

Anticipation over Bubblegum Crisis has built for months. In October, fans at the Anime Weekend Atlanta lined up by the hundreds to view the Bubblegum Crisis DVD. Those involved are thrilled by the results.

Icon designer Gedeon Maheux, of IconFactory , commented: "I've been a fan of the Bubblegum Crisis anime series since its initial U.S. distribution. And so I am honored to have the opportunity to contribute my icon designs for this all new high-quality DVD release of the classic cyberpunk series."

"Bubblegum Crisis DVD Suite is feature rich, sure to please fans and newcomers alike. Dolby AC3 audio, crystal-clear sound and the MPEG-2 video rivals the D2 masters. As if that weren't enough, we've added great features to explore. I hope everyone enjoys it as much as I do", said Leroy Radford, DVD Producer for Bubblegum Crisis.

The three-disc Bubblegum Crisis DVD Suite is available from consumer electronics and software retailers with a suggested retail price of $59.95, or by ordering directly from Multimedia 2000 at 206/622-5530 or www.m-2k.com.
