Multimax Wins $78 Million in Air Force Orders; Major Work Awarded for Manas AB, Kyrgyzstan and Maxwell AFB, Gunter Annex, Alabama.


LARGO, Md. -- Multimax, Inc. announced today that it has won two high-value Air Force task orders, enabling it to expand its Information Technology (IT) services to Air Force organizations at Manas AB in Kyrgyzstan and at Maxwell AFB AFB

The orders were issued to Multimax under the Air Force Network-Centric Solutions (NETCENTS NETCENTS Network-Centric Solutions (US Air Force) ) contract. NETCENTS is a five-year, $9 billion acquisition initiative to provide Air Force, Department of Defense (DoD), and other federal agencies with the complete range of IT, Networking, Telephony, and Security services, solutions and products. NETCENTS is a "mandatory use" contract across the Air Force.

Multimax is a NETCENTS prime contractor.

The new task orders have a potential value of some $78 million over the initial performance periods and multiple option periods ending in 2010 and 2009, respectively.
