Multimax Wins $11.9 Million Award for Navy Overseas Network Refresh.


Company to Provide Tailored Solutions for Network Device Updates

HERNDON, Va. -- Multimax, Inc. - the premier resource for performance-based enterprise information technology (IT) and communications services for Department of Defense and civilian agencies - announced today that it has won a contract to provide the professional services and equipment required for the technology refresh of the U.S. Navy's Overseas Navy Enterprise Network (ONE-NET ONE-NET OCONUS Navy Enterprise Network ).

The contract is valued at $11.9 million over a 12-month period. The contract was issued by the Navy Program Executive Office Enterprise Information Systems (PEO EIS) Base Level Information Infrastructure (BLII BLII Base Level Information Infrastructure ) Program Management Office (PMO).

Multimax will engineer, furnish, install, and test the network refresh devices at 14 OCONUS OCONUS Outside the Continental United States
OCONUS Outside Contiguous United States
 ONE-NET locations throughout Europe, the Middle East, and the Far East. Major tasks include:

* Develop, furnish and install network device replacement solutions meeting all pertinent standards, including information assurance requirements

* Conduct all applicable testing, including a System Operational Verification Test (SOVT SOVT System Operational Verification Test )

* Install new media interfaces and fiber optic patch cords; provide Unique Identification (UID) labeling; provide all necessary cabling changes

* Develop a logistics concept and spare parts plan for the new network devices

* Provide initial training and materials
