Multimax Awarded $41 Million Navy Contract.


Company to Support Commander Naval Installations Command

HERNDON, Va. -- Multimax, Inc. - the premier resource for performance-based enterprise information technology (IT) and communications services for Department of Defense and civilian agencies - announced today that it has won a contract to provide comprehensive IT infrastructure services supporting the Commander Navy Installations Command (CNIC CNIC Citizens' Nuclear Information Center
CNIC Computerized National Identity Card (Pakistan)
CNIC Computational Neurobiology and Imaging Center (New York)
CNIC Commander, Naval Installation Command
). The contract has a ceiling of $41,691,120 over one base and three option years.

Under the contract, Multimax will plan, deploy, operate, and maintain a performance-based IT infrastructure enabling CNIC to accomplish its mission and strategic vision. The initial task is to establish a help desk and depot support facility for the CNIC Enterprise Land Mobile Radio (ELMR ELMR Estuarine Living Marine Resources (NOAA program)

) project. Additional IT infrastructure support services support services Psychology Non-health care-related ancillary services–eg, transportation, financial aid, support groups, homemaker services, respite services, and other services  covered by the contract include:

* Application and database maintenance support

* Commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) software integration

* Planning, engineering, and design support

* Network support

* Systems integration

* Systems administration

* Systems support

* Wired, wireless, satellite, and mobile communications support

* Computer-communication maintenance

* On-site equipment and user support

* Network multimedia devices

* Asset management

* Computer-aided design (CAD) drawing

* Video teleconferencing (VTC VTC - video teleconferencing )

* Web page design/implementation/maintenance

* Server hosting and support

* Continuity of operations The degree or state of being continuous in the conduct of functions, tasks, or duties necessary to accomplish a military action or mission in carrying out the national military strategy.  (COOP) support

* Information assurance (IA) and operations security support

* IT training
