Movie theater snacks.


The lights dim. The crowd settles in. The opening credits Opening credits, in a television program, motion picture or videogame, are shown at the beginning of a show and list the most important members of the production. They are usually shown as text superimposed on a blank screen or static pictures, or sometimes on top of action in the  start to roll. You put one arm around your sweetie...and you reach for the popcorn with the other.

Seven out of every ten moviegoers buy refreshments--most often popcorn. And why not? It's a "healthy" snack. It's got lots of fiber and it's gloriously low in fat.

Fiber, yes. But the popcorn served in movie theaters is one of the fattiest foods you can buy.
