Movie Making: Los Angeles Los Angeles (lôs ăn`jələs, lŏs, ăn`jəlēz'), city (1990 pop. 3,485,398), seat of Los Angeles co., S Calif.; inc. 1850.  financier Tom Gores and veteran producer Frank Mancuso Jr. reached a film acquisition and distribution agreement with Columbia Pictures. Gores and Mancuso will work through production firm 360 Pictures. The first film will be the basketball drama "Crossover."
