Suncoast Survey Reveals Movie Lovers Want to See Estevez

Once Again, Eminem for Some Time and Christensen Not So Much

His father is the president and his brother just married a Bond girl. So what's a washed-up movie star to do to fit in with a family like that? Start a comeback, of course. And America is ready.

Suncoast, the 400-store chain for movie lovers, surveyed more than 2,400 people across the country and found that both men (40 percent) and women (36 percent) agreed that Emilio Estevez Emilio Estévez (born May 12, 1962) is an American actor, director and writer. Biography
Personal life
Estévez was born in New York, New York, the eldest child of actor Martin Sheen and artist Janet (née Templeton).

The survey also inquired about what the future holds for some singers who have recently dipped their toes into the acting waters. Twenty-eight percent of those polled feel that Eminem has the most promising acting career. The rapper/actor barely edged pop-star-turned-actress Mandy Moore, who closely followed with 27 percent. Beyonce Knowles, of Destiny's Child and Austin Powers fame, was third with 21 percent. Britney Spears debut in Crossroads convinced only 16 percent that her acting career has legs.

Among actors who don't sing, the survey found strong opinions on who will have the most staying power. Hot, young, twenty-something actresses Reese Witherspoon (78 percent) and Kirsten Dunst (76 percent) top the list of actors who movie lovers feel will have a lifelong career in film. On the flip-side of that list are a couple of "here today, gone tomorrow" heartthrobs, Hayden Christensen (71 percent) and Josh Harnett (63 percent), who the survey said are likely be out of a job within the next five years.
