Movidis, Inc., a pioneer in real-time server solutions, today announced the availability of an end-to-end Video-on-Demand (VOD) solution which lowers the cost per stream to $89. This end-to-end solution, developed for Multiple System Operators (MSOs) and broadband service providers, uses Movidis' Molecular Media Server (MMS 1000(TM)) along with Movidis' new Business Management Software system. The integration of these two systems enables VOD and Network Personal Video Recording (nPVR) functionality allowing customers to roll out new revenue generating services with a ROI measured in months rather than years.

The Movidis solution is a scalable, low-cost, easy-to-manage system designed for streaming media applications. The server's unique architecture is optimized for distributing multiple streams of video, audio, or web pages over IP, and is designed to enable low-cost entry-level systems to provide thousands of streams at MPEG-2 rates. Movidis' end-to-end solution not only minimizes capital expenses and shortens the return on investment for services providers offering VOD, but increases their revenue opportunity by enabling wider deployment of the service. Additionally, Movidis has integrated low-cost, off the shelf Networked Attached Storage (NAS) to further reduce the risk and costs associated with VOD deployments.

ports) per 3RU chassis;

-- Integrated support for external low-cost and independently

scalable-networked storage, which provides transparent access

capacity from streaming capacity; and,

-- Redundant power and storage.

The back-end system of the end-to-end solution is Movidis' new Business Management Software system that provides users with content management, subscriber management, billing interfaces, and session management (e.g., QAM bandwidth management) to enable a large number of revenue generating services. The software offers the following features:
