Moudis makes it work.

Ted Moudis Associates wanted a dynamic environment that would allow for increased productivity and collaboration. They achieved this at their new 79 Madison Avenue location.

This 32,000 s/f, two-story space comprises of a main reception area, studio workspace, administrative offices, resource library, multiple meeting rooms and cafe.

The premise for the design was to harmonize a "progressive" type of office with an established place of work. In order to obtain this, it was important to first understand TMA's culture and processes and then explore ways to combine innovative techniques with traditional practices.

The result was a mixture of both creativity and functionality. This is visible throughout the open studio workspace as well as the shared common areas. Low panels at the workstations allow for visual interaction with maximum daylight exposure. Single size workstations provide the flexibility without hierarchical positions.

The clear glass partitions, located in the meeting areas, help to define the space without visual barriers. A communal staircase along with a multipurpose room and cafe further creates the opportunity for interaction. TMA utilizes this space by holding company meetings, industry events and training seminars.
