Motorola to Provide Multi-Application Transport and Public Utility Smart Card Solution in Changde, China.

Motorola will design and implement the total smart card AFC solution for the Changde Public Transit Company's bus system, which serves the city's 600,000 residents, as well as the software system platform for multi-applications implementation. For the first phase of the project, users in Changde will use advanced M-Smart Mercury(tm) contactless smart card A smart card that uses radio frequencies to provide a wireless connection to the reader.
