Raiders Fans Asked to Bring Their Used Wireless Phones to Network

Associates Coliseum on December 2, 2002

Motorola and the Oakland Raiders, in partnership with Nextel(R) Communications (NASDAQ:NXTL), urge football fans to bring their used wireless phones to the December 2, 2002 home game at the Network Associates Coliseum.

Phones collected that day will directly benefit shelters and programs assisting victims of domestic violence. Nextel volunteers will accept all brands of phones, regardless of condition, at Gates A, B, C & D, as well as Stadium Club Entrance East beginning at 3:30 p.m. on game day. Those unable to attend the game are invited to drop off phones at any participating Bay Area Nextel retail stores.
