Motorola's Cellular Infrastructure Group receives ISO 9001 certification for quality.

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, Ill.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 11, 1996-- Motorola's Cellular Infrastructure Group (CIG) announced today that it has received ISO 9001 certification for its quality from KEMA, an independent ISO registrar.

Certification of compliance with the ISO 9001 standard is awarded to companies that meet or exceed quality standards set forth by the International Standards Organization (ISO). The ISO 9001 is internationally recognized as the most comprehensive of the standards designed to measure the overall quality of a company's manufacturing process. ISO 9001 has been adopted as an international standard by more than 80 countries worldwide.
