Motor Racing: Dan is not A1.

Dan Wheldon will not race for Great Britain in the inaugural A1 Grand Prix series.

Just days after turning down a Formula One chance to concentrate on defending his Indy Racing League and Indianapolis 500 titles in the United States, he was offered a guest drive for Great Britain in the A1 series.

He said: "I think I'm doing what I prefer, in fact I have no doubt.

"You can have people approach you, but your heart has got to be 100% into it and mine really wasn't. The deal didn't seem right to me
