SONY PICTURES RELEASING

THE distribution arm of Sony Pictures brought in $1.31 billion, accounting for 14.2 percent of the overall $9.21 billion in 2004 domestic box office revenue.

Buena Vista, Sony and Warner Bros. each surpassed $1 billion in domestic box office.
