In Mansfield, Conn. Meridian recently closed a 10-year fixed rate mortgage of $14 million -- 88% of cost -- at 225 basis points over the 10-year Treasury bill on a 408 unit garden apartment complex. The loan closed in 45 days. The transaction was negotiated by Morris Diamant and Matthew Texler.
