More time.New kicks in '07 for Jason Dill, who left the devious DVS team for a spot over at the Etnies burgeoning fashion division. In sadder Etnies news, French champion Bastien Salabanzi was let go from the team as well as from his clothing sponsor, Quiksilver. Stay up, Salabanzi! James "English" Brayson debuted 21 hand-painted Vans canvas Sk8-Hi's, Chukkas, and slip-ons at DLX. Meanwhile, the Wes "Bulldog" Humpstons under the Vans label are trickling out. Cases are rumored to pop at the upcoming ASR gig, if you're one of those in the know. Other rippers who are making some big moves include Darrell Stanton, rumored to be signed on at Element, and Terell Robinson, forsaking his slot on City and Fallen for a chance on the Darkstar squad. It was a short ride on The Dot, but Rob "Wu" Welsh has already split from Santa Cruz to slang mannies and pump handfor Expedition. And joining him is East Coast lave Joey Pepper, formerly of Aesthetics and Zoo. Meanwhile, Santa Cruz turned Canadian star Ted DeGros pro. Ripping new ares at Black Label: San Diego's Shuriken Shannon and Vista's Brian "Slash" Hansen both have earned their elephant. Crimson just got a few new guys, too, snatching up Chicagoland's Steve Pauser and Tampa Am standout Vince DeValle. |
