More on vegetarian foods in assisted living facilities.In response to the Note from the Coordinators in Issue 3, 2003: I thought you might be interested in an experience I had while touring a retirement community in our area. The lady we were supposed to meet for the tour was a little late, so we looked around the main building on our own. I mentioned this to the guide and she said they hadn't had·n't Contraction of had not. hadn't had not hadn't have even thought of the possibility of vegetarian retirees! I hope I prevailed upon her the fact that many vegetarians are retirees, and many more will be joining the ranks of the newly retired with the aging of the baby boomers See generation X. . I think the message is one that needs to be promoted to the many retirement building projects that are cropping up everywhere. We are vegetarian, and we are here!
