 mentions his own new book, Piety and Politics, to be published this fall.

Sounds great! However, I am puzzled by the magazine's lack of comment on two recent books by former American leaders that directly address the assault on religious freedom by the Religious Right, namely the new books on bookstore shelves right now by Jimmy Carter and Madeleine Albright Madeleine Korbel Albright (born May 15 1937) was the first woman to become United States Secretary of State. She was nominated by President Bill Clinton on December 5 1996 and was unanimously confirmed by the United States Senate 99-0. She was sworn in on January 23 1997. . Why not publish reviews in the magazine, so that subscribers know that they have influential writers on their side?
