"Folding the Honeywell technology into MIRAGE will open the door to hotter and brighter pixels and higher frame rates than currently available," he said. The result, he said, will be "more accurate and dynamic target representation to seekers and sensors under test."

The technology will merge into SNIR's new 1024 x 1024 and 1024 x 2048 emitter systems, which accommodates testing of higher resolution sensors.
