More HIV/AIDS in China.


Beijing -- There is a vast increase in the incidence of HIV/AIDS in China The HIV/AIDS pandemic scene in East Asia is largely dominated by China. Much of the current spread of the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) in China has been through intravenous drug use and prostitution.  (Toronto Star, Nov. 23, 2006). As of October 31, 2006, the reported number of cases was nearly 30 percent higher than for all of 2005.
