Morbark upgrades Web site.

 the company, "the Morbark site has not only undergone a complete design transformation, but site navigation has also been greatly improved." Changes went into effect January 15.

One of the biggest changes was the incorporation of new technology into the site.

"The new Web site utilizes newer technologies, such as Flash and Active Server Pages (World-Wide Web, programming) Active Server Pages - (ASP) A scripting environment for Microsoft Internet Information Server in which you can combine HTML, scripts and reusable ActiveX server components to create dynamic web pages.

Changes to the site also include a new feature on the dealer page that allows customers to locate dealers by state with just the click of a button.

"The new Web site pulls together the site design for a more consistent, professional feel," says Smith. "The content it is now more organized and easier to find."

The equipment page offers important specifications and a photo of all Morbark equipment. All equipment specification sheets are also available on the site, downloadable in a PDF (Portable Document Format) The de facto standard for document publishing from Adobe. On the Web, there are countless brochures, data sheets, white papers and technical manuals in the PDF format.  format.
