MontaVista Software and Zentek Technology Join Forces Focusing on the Wireless Devices Market.

MontaVista Software MontaVista Software develops systems software, development tools and Embedded Linux-based software targeting embedded systems such as automotive electronics, communications equipment, and television set-top boxes and other connected devices and infrastructure.  Inc. and Zentek Technology Japan Inc. today announced they would join forces to provide embedded developers with innovative solutions targeting applications in the wireless devices market.

A rapidly increasing number of embedded system developers are considering Linux for application development, and they require a robust yet flexible Linux platform for their wireless and mobile applications. Zentek will meet these market needs by supporting one of the leading embedded Linux platforms on the market today, MontaVista(TM) Linux(R). As a new member of the MontaVista Partnering Program, Zentek will adopt and promote MontaVista Linux as its standard embedded Linux platform. MontaVista Software will reference and leverage Zentek's browser and Java application solutions as part of its vertical offering for wireless devices.
