MontaVista Software Commits as First Global Platinum Sponsor of 2008 Freescale Technology Forum.
MontaVista has consistently sponsored FTF events since the program began in 2005. The global platinum sponsorship enables Freescale and MontaVista to collaborate closely on these events for embedded developers throughout 2008 to deliver consistent, high-quality training for FTF attendees worldwide.
"The Freescale Technology Forum gives MontaVista multiple opportunities to show embedded developers how to get the most out of open source when using Freescale solutions based on i.MX processors, Power Architecture[TM] technology and a broad range of other Freescale products," said Larry Macfarlane, vice president of marketing and CMO of MontaVista Software. "Every year, more types of devices are built on Freescale platforms running embedded Linux technology. FTF conferences are key for Linux developers who want to learn new techniques for accelerating development and adding competitive device functionality."
