Monster Hosts Third Annual Diversity Leadership Program at Loyola Marymount University, Los Angeles.


WHAT:  The Diversity Leadership Program (DLP) will bring together top
       business leaders with a select group of culturally diverse
       college students. Out of more than 10,000 applications, 1,800
       college juniors and seniors were selected to take part in six
       separate weekend seminars to help develop life skills for
       success after college. Presented by Monster(R), the leading
       global online careers property, the third annual Diversity
       Leadership Program will enhance future employment opportunities
       by introducing students to some of America's top companies.

       In an engaging, interactive environment, the programs will
       provide students with an opportunity to network and build
       practical skills including resume writing, goal setting,
       career development and money management. DLP selection
       criteria is based upon a variety of factors, including a
       student's demonstrated leadership abilities,
       extracurricular activities, and GPA.

       DLP's featured sponsor is PricewaterhouseCoopers, which helped
       subsidize the entire conference program, including food and
       accommodations. Additional participating sponsors include: New
       York Life, Cox Communications, Southern Company, AMS, Liberty
       Mutual, Intel, Northrop Grumman, Cardinal Health, McKesson
       Staples, Enterprise Rent-A-Car, Nortel Networks, SunTrust,
       Shaw, US Navy, NVR, and Ferguson.

WHEN:  Saturday, July 24th - Sunday, July 25th
       Saturday: 11am (Start)  - 9pm (Finish);
       Sunday: 8am (Start) - 4pm (Finish)

       Three additional programs will be held this year:

        --  July 31st-August 1st -- Howard University (Washington, DC)

        --  August 7th-8th -- St. John's University (New York)

        --  August 14th-15th -- University of Chicago (Chicago)

WHO:   Pegine Echevarria comes to DLW with more than fifteen years
       experience as a nationally recognized expert on success,
       leadership, and team-building, and thirty years experience in
       the workplace, ranging from corporate America to public
       service. A published author of success, leadership, and
       team-building books and audio products, Echevarria serves as an
       advisor for several national best-selling titles and frequently
       appears on national television and radio. She is also a
       contributing author to "Women in Sales," by Dottie Walters and
       has observed people in a variety of settings, from infant and
       toddler centers to corporate environments.

       Jimmy Cabrera has been a professional speaker and consultant
       for more than twenty years. A member of the National
       Speakers Association, he has earned that association's
       prestigious Certified Speaking Professional designation.
