 Imaging has introduced the Adobe(R) Type Collection, OpenType(R) Edition, with over 2900 typefaces on one CD including more than 400 that are new to the collection. The library can be viewed by visiting www.fonts.com and accessing the Font Packs/Libraries section, where a PDF (Portable Document Format) The de facto standard for document publishing from Adobe. On the Web, there are countless brochures, data sheets, white papers and technical manuals in the PDF format.  font catalog of the collection is also available.

OpenType fonts provide new features to users, including cross-platform compatibility between Macintosh(R) and Windows(R) computers, the ability to access alternate characters without switching to a different font, and intelligent character substitution such as replacing multiple characters with ligatures.
