Monomoy Announces the Acquisition of Astatic Mobile Communications by Barjan LLC; Monomoy Portfolio Company to Strengthen Product Offering Through Strategic Acquisition of CB Equipment Manufacturer.

NEW YORK -- Monomoy Capital Partners, L.P. ("Monomoy") today announced that its portfolio company, Barjan LLC ("Barjan" or "the Company"), the leading distributor of consumer products to travel centers, truck stops, car washes and convenience stores, has completed the acquisition of the Astatic Mobile Communications business ("Astatic") from Omnitronics, LLC. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Astatic has been the leading manufacturer of aftermarket CB microphones and other CB radio equipment for over 70 years. An innovator in microphone technology, Astatic is well-recognized in all of its markets, including truck stop, travel center, marine and automotive, for both its microphones and its antenna products.
