package, the MP7722 is the most compact solution in its class.

The MP7722 features a unique closed loop topology that provides excellent linearity with a very low THD+N THD+N Total Harmonic Distortion + Noise  of 0.06% at 1kHz. MPS' proprietary variable switching frequency topology reduces the magnitude of EMI (ElectroMagnetic Interference) An electrical disturbance in a system due to natural phenomena, low-frequency waves from electromechanical devices or high-frequency waves (RFI) from chips and other electronic devices. Allowable limits are governed by the FCC.  spikes during operation. Other features include adjustable gain via two external resistors, power-on/off pop & click suppression and thermal/short circuit protection. In addition, the MP7722 incorporates mute and standby modes for lower power consumption.

Samples and evaluation boards are available immediately. Pricing for the MP7722 begins at $2.90 in 1k piece quantities.
