Monitoring the pH and conductivity of dielectric pulps using the ISO and IEC standard guidelines.

Application: This study will help in comparing pulp qualities measured by different standards.

Regression lines Noun 1. regression line - a smooth curve fitted to the set of paired data in regression analysis; for linear regression the curve is a straight line

60641-2) and conductivity (ISO 6587 and IEC 60641-2) of kraft pulps. For pH measurements, these standard guidelines resulted in rather similar results, whereas, due to the different sample amounts used in the standards, the correspondingly different values of conductivity were obtained. The proper conversion of conductivity values is of great importance, for example, in case of dielectric dielectric (dī'ĭlĕk`trĭk), material that does not conduct electricity readily, i.e., an insulator (see insulation). A good dielectric should also have other properties: It must resist breakdown under high voltages; it should not  pulps (6<p11<8; conductivity <3.5mS/m) for research and commercial purposes.
