Monitoring software targets family molds. (Injection Molding).


Molders using family tools can monitor the production from each cavity cavity /cav·i·ty/ (kav´i-te)

 on a multi-part tool to provide real-time data Real-time data denotes information that is delivered immediately after collection. There is no delay in the timeliness of the information provided.

Some uses of this term confuse it with the term dynamic data.
 on net parts, pieces to go, rejects, scrap, material requirements, and SPC 1. (business) SPC - Statistical Process Control. Something to do with quality management.

2. (body) SPC - Software Productivity Centre.
3. (company) SPC - Software Publishing Corporation.

The software can also forecast material requirements and completion dates by component part, track scrap factors by individual component, maintain inventory counts, provide traceability for quality documentation, and create packaging and labeling instructions by individual part number.
