Monitor and manage your existing storage with Auto-Stor.

With companies purchasing storage space in record numbers, the question that presents itself is how to manage and monitor all of this information once it is tucked away. Arkivio, a fairly new player in the game of storage, has recently offered a solution to the problem with the release of its Auto-Stor software.

Administrators are able to monitor total capacity (available and used) and data usage patterns, so they can more accurately match future purchases with actual storage usage and the business value of their data. In addition, these UNIX enhancements build on the existing ability for Windows storage environments to adaptively optimize the placement of data on the most appropriate storage device available on the network. By intelligently moving data to the appropriate resources, Auto-Stor can fully utilize existing storage, actively prevent work stoppage stoppage - /sto'p*j/ Extreme lossage that renders something (usually something vital) completely unusable. "The recent system stoppage was caused by a fried transformer."  due to volumes exceeding capacity, and automatically direct data to new storage resources.

"Auto-Stor raises the performance bar for the Windows and UNIX communities by providing IT departments with early warning signals and an array of new preventative features to optimize storage usage and resolve potential problems before they disrupt the storage environment and end user productivity."

Seamlessly implementing and automating these cost-reducing projects would not be possible without the use of Arkivio's software solution."

Auto-Stor arrives at a time when monitoring and managing data have become a top priority for company departments dealing with data storage.
