Monier Inc. and O'Hagin's Inc. Announce Settlement.
SEBASTOPOL, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 26, 2002
Monier Inc. and O'Hagin's Inc. today announced that they have reached an out of court settlement ending a legal dispute. Details of the settlement were not disclosed but executives at both firms expressed satisfaction that this matter was settled in a fair and equitable manner.
Both companies agreed that settlement rather than litigation was the best course of action. "We are a manufacturing company. Our pride is designing, developing and producing the best attic ventilation products possible," said Carolina O'Hagin, founder and chairperson of the Board of O'Hagin's Inc. A representative of Monier Inc. agreed with this statement and added further that the reaching of a settlement was due in a large part to the mutual respect evident between the two companies. O'Hagin's and Monier Inc. hope that this decision will help them to cooperate in providing their markets with the finest roofing products available.
