quarter ends, but that's what happened with Cymer Inc., the San
Diego San Diego (săn dēā`gō), city (1990 pop. 1,110,549), seat of San Diego co., S Calif., on San Diego Bay; inc. 1850. San Diego includes the unincorporated communities of La Jolla and Spring Valley. Coronado is across the bay. maker of eximer lasers used in the making of semiconductors.
Cymer said in its final annual report filed March 15 it increased
the company's income tax benefit by $644,000. That, in turn,
boosted its full year net income by $1.1 million to $46.5 million.
Earnings per share also rose by 3 cents to $1.27.
