Injection and compression molding presses are highlighted in this four-page, four-color brochure. The clamp unit is said to feature a robust design with flame hardened, thermally pre-stressed columns. Precise temperature control, even heat distribution and rapid heat-up times are said to be assured through the use of PID controlled electrical cartridge heaters, with individual heat outputs depending on location within the platen. The injection unit is said to be designed for accuracy and easy maintenance. Both vertical and horizontal units come equipped with FIFO (first in, first out) or standard injection systems. Shot volume is injected against backpressure and metered via a high resolution linear scale. Temperatures are microprocessor controlled from the standard temperature controllers running through an external jacket at the plastification screw. This is independent from the injection shot chamber that is temperature regulated through concentric passages to provide uniform heat control, according to the literature. The plasticizing screw is of a swing-away design, and the injection cylinder piston retracts clear from the chamber, allowing fast cleaning, according to the literature. The hydraulic system is said to be durable.
