Mohawk using wind power. Mohawk Paper Mills, Cohoes, New York Cohoes is a city located at the northeast corner of Albany County, New York, USA. It is called the "Spindle City" because of the importance of textile production to its growth. As of the 2000 census, the city population was 15,521. , USA, is the first known paper mill to begin purchasing wind power for use in manufacturing operations Manufacturing operations concern the operation of a facility, as opposed to maintenance, supply and distribution, health, and safety, emergency response, human resources, security, information technology and other infrastructural support organizations. . Purchased by Mohawk from Community Energy Inc., the wind energy will come from New York New York, state, United States
New York, Middle Atlantic state of the United States. It is bordered by Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and the Atlantic Ocean (E), New Jersey and Pennsylvania (S), Lakes Erie and Ontario and the Canadian province of
 State's largest wind farm near Syracuse. The project uses 1.5 Mw wind turbines.
