 (RKF RKF Rapid Knowledge Formation ), the nation's leading independent real estate firm specializing in retail leasing and investment sales, has completed a transaction that will bring Modell's Sporting Goods to 2101 Church Ave. in Brooklyn. The sporting apparel and accessories retailer took 20,000 SF of space at the former Kenmore Theater for a term of 20 years.

The landlord is redeveloping the 40,000-SF former Kenmore Theater, a historic destination that was once one of Brooklyn's best-known movie theaters. The property is located between Flatbush Avenue and East 21 Street, near Erasmus Hall High School Erasmus Hall High School is a three-year public high school in Brooklyn, in the New York City Department of Education. It primarily serves the 10th to 12th grades. It is located on the east side of Flatbush Avenue slightly south of Church Avenue in the community of Flatbush. . Modell's signed the first lease for the repositioned site, taking 4,000 SF on the first floor and 16,000 SF on the second floor.
