SEFLIN's member libraries work together to promote cooperation and resource sharing in order to efficiently and effectively serve the information needs of South Florida residents.
MODCOMP's REAL/STAR system is being used with SEFLIN Free-Net, a computer network of community information. The REAL/STAR system carries the heavy load of Usenets and discussion group messages, a very popular feature on SEFLIN Free-Net. SEFLIN Free-Net is accessible to everyone in Southeast Florida free of charge. The network of information is built by the community for the community.
