Mochida Pharmaceutical Adopts British Inpharmatica's In-silico ADME Suite, Admensa Interactive.


Tokyo, Japan, Oct 15, 2005 - (JCNN JCNN Japan Corporate News Network ) - PharmaDesign announced on October 11 that Mochida Pharmaceutical has signed a licensing agreement with Inpharmatica, a UK drug discovery firm, for Admensa Interactive, Inpharmatica's proprietary in-silico suite of predictive drug absorption, distribution, metabolism and excretion excretion, process of eliminating from an organism waste products of metabolism and other materials that are of no use. Mochida Pharmaceutical is the second such Japanese company that introduces Inpharmatica's Admensa Interatctive suite. With this move, Mochida will be able to accelerate its drug discovery process and reduce relative costs.

PharmaDesign, a Tokyo-based venture company specializing in genomic drug discovery, is a sales and marketing partner of Inpharmatica in Japan.
