Mobistar net profit drops 12.2% Y/Y in H1 2011.

The revenues came in at EUR 819.9 million, a tiny rise of 0.1% year-on-year.

Mobistar said on Tuesday its results for the first half of 2011 were significantly affected by the reduction in the mobile termination and roaming rates, which sliced EUR 54.5 million off revenues.

The number of active mobile telephony customers rose by 4.9% to about 4.1 million.

The Belgian telecoms operator confirmed its projections for the financial results in full-2011. The sales are seen almost flat on the previous year. The net profit is projected at between EUR 220 million and EUR 230 million.
