Proprietary Mobiliti Technology Enables Real-Time Synch of Local

Files to FTP and HTTP Locations and Remote Servers

Mobiliti, Inc., a leading developer of mobile synchronization products and services, today announced an innovative solution for network backup that enables real-time synchronization of data to remote locations.

The new product, Continuiti(TM), will enable businesses to cost-effectively back up data on remote servers, or to FTP or HTTP sites, in an accelerated, real-time manner in order to maximize protection of their data assets.

Continuiti combines Mobiliti's patent-pending Open File Write Monitor (OFWM) backup technology, which enables users to log all changes to files as they occur in real time, with real-time synchronization features for network servers. This enables network administrators to direct synchronization for users to remote servers, or other FTP or HTTP sites in the company's intranet, in real-time.

Designed for large-scale backup scenarios, Continuiti employs archive bit analysis technology for rapid determination of files to be synchronized. Continuiti allows mission-critical data to be hotswapped to various locations instantaneously.

Continuiti will be sold directly by Mobiliti and will be integrated with the recently-announced Horizon Business Continuity Services (BCS) program from Horizon Companies, of which Mobiliti is a subsidiary.

As a backup solution, Continuiti relies on Mobiliti's iDESP (Intelligent Delta Selection Process) technology, which reduces network synchronization time by 95-99% by transferring only changes to files (not the entire files themselves) across the network. Along with this, there exists a virtual network feature that enables a seamless transition between connected and disconnected network states.

Continuiti enables files to be quickly analyzed using source-only analysis and Quick File Analysis(TM). Continuiti employs strong encryption features and incorporates network authentication. Users can synchronize and back up files from any source to any destination, including external drives.
