Mobile Streams Announces Strategic Alliance with Liberty Media Corporation and Its Subsidiary, TruePosition, Inc.


LONDON -- Mobile Streams, the global mobile media specialist, today announced an investment in the form of a strategic alliance with US cable and media investment group Liberty Media Corporation's ("Liberty") wireless location subsidiary TruePosition, Inc. In addition, Mobile Streams has signed a multi-million dollar agreement to manage and operate ConnectID, the US mobile tracking business controlled by TruePosition.

Strategic Alliance

Liberty and TruePosition have chosen Mobile Streams as a mobile entertainment partner, the first such investment by Liberty in this fast-growing market. Liberty, through TruePosition, has acquired a 22% stake in Mobile Streams.

The agreement offers significant commercial benefits and will enhance Mobile Streams' ability to license premium content from media companies while affording Liberty and TruePosition access to Mobile Streams' expertise in mobile content and technology.

ConnectID

Mobile Streams has been awarded a 5-year contract to manage all areas of ConnectID, the Berwyn, Pennsylvania based business offering mobile location services See mobile positioning.  such as child and senior citizen tracking services, pet finder finder, in law.
