Mobiam wins US Military Health Systems software contract.


Mobiam Solutions, Inc. has announced that its FirstServe healthcare management software has been selected by Defense Contracting Command, Washington as the "Enterprise-Wide Scheduling and Registration System" intended for use throughout the hundreds of military hospitals operated by the Military Health System worldwide. The rigorous year-long procurement was managed by the Military Health System, Department of Defense and included consideration of many competing solutions from vendors across the country.

FirstServe is a flexible, high-capacity application built on Mobiam's acclaimed J2EE (Java 2 Platform, Enterprise Edition) A platform from Sun for building distributed enterprise applications. J2EE services are performed in the middle tier between the user's machine and the enterprise's databases and legacy information systems.  (Java 2 Enterprise Edition) development platform.
