 PTE Ltd PTE LTD Private Limited . to build a giant ferris wheel at a shopping mall to be constructed in the Marina Bay Area in Singapore. The wheel will have 28 large cabins, each of which will be able to accommodate 28 people.

Slated for completion in February 2008, the wheel will become the world's largest at 150m in diameter, surpassing the current world&s biggest 135m-diameter London Eye wheel in London.

Although Japanese trading giant Mitsubishi Corp. and Takenaka Corp. have won the 10 billion yen ($91 mil) shopping mall development project, MHI will be in charge of the production and deployment of the wheel.

The new wheel will feature a large self-rotating cabin floor stability system, which keeps the cabin's floor horizontal to the ground level. The wheel will complete one rotation in 30 minutes.
