Mitsubishi Electric to Release High-speed Medical Color Dry Imager.


Tokyo, Japan, Nov 14, 2005 - (JCNN JCNN Japan Corporate News Network ) - Mitsubishi Electric Mitsubishi Electric Corporation (三菱電機株式会社   will launch the Mitsubishi Dry Imager P6000D, its latest medical color dry imager model, on December 5.

The new product incorporates a 320-dpi thermal head to create about 70 high-resolution CR, CT and MRI CT and MRI
Two high technology methods of creating images of internal organs. Computerized axial tomography (CT or CAT) uses x rays, while magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) uses magnet fields and radio-frequency signals. Both construct images using a computer.
 images per hour. It measures 402x231x378mm.

The suggested retail price is set at 997,500 yen ($8,500).
