The new LVP-HC3100 is designed to produce improved graphics colors with a newly developed color wheel and the enhanced reproduction of the jet-black color which is a special feature of DLP (Digital Light Processing) A data projection technology from TI that produces clear, readable images on screens in lit rooms. DLP is used in all types of projection devices, from data projectors that weigh only a few pounds to large rear-projection TVs to electronic projectors. Mitsubishi will market the LVP-HC3100 along with a less expensive 300:1 contrast model from August 25 with an open price. The home theatre market is expected to increase 130% this year.
