Mississippi farmer Mike Lamensdorf has purchased Cotton Farming, Rice Farming, The Peanut Grower and Soybean South magazines from Vance Publishing.

Mississippi farmer Mike Lamensdorf has purchased Cotton Farming, Rice Farming, The Peanut Grower and Soybean South magazines from Vance Publishing. Lamensdorf's new company--One Grower Publishing LLC--will now own the magazines. Under the new ownership, Lamensdorf is president and treasurer of the company. Lia Guthrie is publisher and vice president. Guthrie previously was associate publisher of Cotton Farming and national accounts manager for Vance's Crop Division. Tommy Horton continues as editor of Cotton Farming, and Amanda Huber remains as editor of The Peanut Grower. Carol Smith joins as editor of Rice Farming and is senior writer for Cotton Farming.
