 today announced the appointment of Bill Arvidson, a seasoned engineering and support manager, as the Company's Director of Customer Care. In this position, Arvidson will be responsible for developing new service offerings and will apply his expertise to building, managing and deploying worldwide support centers for Mission Critical Linux.

Arvidson comes to Mission Critical Linux after spending more than 20 years in a broad range of engineering positions with Compaq, Digital Equipment Corporation and Raytheon Service Company. Most recently, Arvidson managed a team of engineers responsible for resolving critical problems reported by Digital's UNIX Operating System Noun 1.
