Missing conferences followup: four meetings' history found.Our last issue listed major AIDS conferences that were missing--the abstracts were not available anywhere online, and neither the U.S. National Library of Medicine Noun 1. Since the article appeared the first four International AIDS Conference Education, networking and the promotion of best practice are essential to enhancing the response to HIV/AIDS. IAS conferences provide opportunities to share experience, and increase the knowledge and expertise of professionals working in HIV/AIDS. abstracts have been found, and AEGIS (http://www.aegis.org) is now working to get them online. When that work is complete, all the International AIDS Conference abstracts will be available throughout the world. (The 2004 conference in Bangkok can be searched at a different site, http://www.iasociety.org/ejias/search.asp?). The other conference abstracts we listed are still missing: * Conference on Retroviruses and Opportunistic Infections Opportunistic infections Infections that cause a disease only when the host's immune system is impaired.
