Mishaps.


On 2 May, the pilots of two F/A-18C Hornets of Marine Fighter Attack Squadron Attack Squadron may refer to:
  • An US military navy aircraft squadron - see List of United States Navy aircraft squadrons
  • 42nd Attack Squadron, a squadron flying the MQ-9 Reaper
  • Jane's Attack Squadron, a World War II flight simulator
 323 were killed while operating in Iraq. The aircraft were part of Carrier Air Wing 9 on board Carl Vinson (CVN (Card Verification Number) See CSC.  70).

A T-34C Turbo-Mentor, TH-57B Sea Ranger and TH-57C Sea Ranger of Training Wing 5 suffered Class A damage following a hail storm at NAS (1) See network access server.

(2) (Network Attached Storage) A specialized file server that connects to the network. A NAS device contains a slimmed-down operating system and a file system and processes only I/O requests by supporting the popular
 Whiting Field, Fla., on 26 March.
