Mirror mirror on the wall.

New York City Ballet star Wendy Whelan joined Meryl Streep, Wynton Marsalis, Alan Alda, Oliver Sacks and others in reading poetry at a benefit for the Academy of American Poets in April. While introducing "Mirror," a poem by Sylvia Plath, Whelan said, "My life thus far has required me to spend day after day in front of the mirror studying my reflection, balancing between self-delight and self-scrutiny. I have found this balance at times to be maddening."
